Storytimes
The South Burlington Public Library offers two regular storytimes geared to our youngest patrons and their caregivers! The dates shown below are the dates that Toddler Time and Babytime typically take place. However, please check our events page for up to date information and to confirm that storytime is scheduled for the date on which you are planning to join us.
All programs are free and do not require pre-registration!
Toddlertime
Tuesdays at 9:15-9:45am or 10:30-11:00am. Please check the events calendar for summer schedules.
Join Valerie for storytimes geared to our youngest patrons! This lively, interactive storytime is just right for your wiggly toddler. Short stories and familiar songs, rhymes and fingerplays are featured, with time to wiggle and dance. Sitting still is not a pre-requisite! Grown-up caregivers are welcome to socialize after the storytime.
Designed for ages 1 to 3+ with an adult caregiver.
Babytime
Wednesdays, 10:30-11am. Please check the events calendar for summer schedules.
A gentle, slow storytime for non-mobile infants and their caregivers. Features songs, rhymes and lap play that help develop children's language and social skills. Grown-ups caregivers are welcome to socialize after storytime has ended.
