Seed Swap and Seed Saving Basics

Drawers of different seeds in the background with the title of the program

Hungry for gardening season? Join local gardeners for our annual Seed Swap! Bring seeds saved from your garden or leftover packets to exchange. Seeds must be non-GMO. Open pollinated or heirloom seeds are preferred as they will grow true next year.

Curious about Seed Saving? Close the loop in your gardening practices! Introductory info, advice and demos for beginners. Provided by two Master Gardeners.
Bring your questions too!

There will also be extra give-away seeds that are easy to save year-to-year, informative gardening handouts, and a display of our Library of Things gardening tools you can borrow with your library card!

No registration necessary.

The Library is ADA accessible, patrons are asked to call (802) 846-4140 in advance if special services are required.

Masks may be worn in the library and at any library program.
