My Vermont Eyes at Illuminate Vermont!

Dr. Jolivette will help light up South Burlington’s Illuminate Vermont event with a Poetry Theater performance in the library.

Stop by for a few minutes or stay for the whole hour.

This performance will be held in the Library living room (near the fireplace, first floor).

For a sample of Dr. Jolivette's reading poetry, check out this video of the Feb. 1 devotional at the Vermont Statehouse for the beginning of Black History Month. The reading runs from the beginning of the video to minute 3:36. The poems are My Migration Part 1 by Jolivette Anderson-Douoning and  "Midway" by Naomi Long Madgett.

My Vermont Eyes was developed in partnership with Clemmons Family Farm and supported in part by a Vermont Community Fund Arts & Social Cohesion grant.

The Library is ADA accessible, patrons are asked to call (802) 846-4140 in advance if special services are required.

Masks may be worn in the library and at any library program.
