Middle and High School students are invited to build a sculpture!
build a kinetic sculpture for the bike path
Students in grades 6-12 are invited to join South Burlington artist and educator Katie O'Brien, in creating a permanent art installation for the South Burlington bike path. The sculpture will be created using PVC pipe, bicycle wheels, and sheet metal. Preparation of the kinetic sculpture will include painting, assembling and decorating. The work will take place at the South Burlington Public Library on 4 Tuesday afternoons in April- 2,9,16 & 30 from 4:00-5:30. The installation is planned for mid May.
