October Art Wall & Display Case

A painting inspired by Monet's gardens at Giverny. A cloudy blue pond with pink lilies and impressionistic trees and plants surrounding it.

Painting by Andria Lovejoy

On the Art Wall:

This October the South Burlington Library will be hosting a collection of paintings by Andria Lovejoy, a visually impaired local artist. These paintings haven't been shown before, and are inspired by her trip to Monet's gardens at Giverny a few years ago. Andria has always been inspired by traveling to beautiful places. She originally attended art school at Virginia Commonwealth University, and she obtained a Bachelors degree in Psychology and Studio Art from the University of Vermont.

In the Display Case:

A collection of vintage vinyl records has been curated by a South Burlington community member. This collection includes a variety of soundtracks and folk music.

The Library is ADA accessible, patrons are asked to call (802) 846-4140 in advance if special services are required.

Masks may be worn in the library and at any library program.
