Banned Book Storytime

VSARN storytime

Banned Storytime with VSARN*.

VSARN's book project introduces Vermont children to books about diversity, equity, and inclusion - with fun activities, discussions, and mentorship from high school students included as part of the read aloud. This summer, we will be touring libraries to read banned books for youth of all ages, from toddler to middle school.

(Designed for ages 2-6+ with an adult caregiver.)

*“VSARN is a nonprofit that is founded and run by students in high school and college. We work to achieve education without racism through education about racism. More specifically, we spend our time creating education policy that supports students, developing anti-racist schools and communities, and building support systems for our youth.
