Winter Concert: Vermont Symphony Orchestra Duo

Enjoy some music with us here at the South Burlington Public Library!

The Vermont Symphony Orchestra (est. 1934) is one of nation’s oldest state-assisted orchestras, with 54 contracted instrumentalists, an 80-voice volunteer chorus, and between 40-50 annual performances statewide in concert halls, beautiful natural settings, and historic and community buildings, In addition to concert programming, SymphonyKids presentations annually reach thousands of school children statewide. The VSO serves Vermont year round with in-school educational programming, children’s concerts, commissions, as well as choral and chamber music concerts. (via the Vermont Symphony Orchestra website)

This performance will be a duo, featuring John Dunlop on the cello and Laura Markowitz on the violin.

Concerts will be held in the Auditorium. 
Doors open at 11:45 am.
No tickets or registration needed. This concert is free and open to all!
