How do I sign into Kanopy?

- You will need your South Burlington library card number and catalog account password.
- Your default catalog account password is your last name with the first letter capitalized.
- Select Get Started on Kanopy's website.
- Select South Burlington Public Library.
- Enter your Library Card Number (letters are case sensitive) and PIN (password).
- You will then be prompted to make a new account using your personal email address and a password of your choice.
- You will need your South Burlington library card number and catalog account password.
Who can stream videos using Kanopy?
South Burlington residents with a library card may use Kanopy to stream videos. Accounts must be in good standing to borrow from the digital collection. Homecard patrons should check with their local library for access. Patrons with Nonresident cards are not eligible for this service.

How many items may I check out and for how long?
- You receive 10 tickets a month. Movies generally require 2-4 tickets. TV series are usually use 4 tickets. Some videos do not require tickets.
- The time to watch videos varies. Look for access time next to the number of tickets.

Can I use my account across multiple devices?
Yes, your kanopy account will sync across multiple devices when you sign in with the same library card.
