The 6th Generation: Black Southerner Memories & Migrations featuring Jolivette Anderson & Nadja Douoning

African American Spoken Word and Poetry Theater artist and Saint Michael’s professor Dr. Jolivette Anderson, will perform with her daughter, singer-song writer Nadja Douoning. Their stories connect to the history of African Americans from the 1700s to the present and touches on the relationships between Black Americans and recent Black / African immigrants from other parts of the world, specifically West Africa.

Masks may be worn in the library and at any library program.
