Art Wall: Paintings by El Towle

Head upstairs to our Art Wall to view Elroy (El) Towle's  paintings of Vermont landscapes, lakescapes, wildlife, and farm animals.

El's work is eclectic in both subject matter and medium. Being an art teacher has provided him with opportunities to discover and explore endless variations of expression. El's partner is a chef and sugar maker who has a farm in rural Belvidere, Vermont, which is surrounded by eight historic covered bridges and dramatic vistas. This area of Vermont has been the inspiration for many of his creations. His home and studio are located on the shores of Lake Champlain in South Alburgh, Vermont.
