"Would You Mind If...?", Recent Street Portraits by Michael Metz.

"I have been capturing life through a lens for over five decades, honing my craft alongside a career in technology. Now retired, I can spend more time on photography, which I love, with a particular focus on portraits. This exhibition explores the evolving landscape of my street photography over the past six years. In an era where spontaneous shots are increasingly viewed as intrusive, it’s hard to navigate the delicate balance between raw authenticity and the respect for privacy. The collection showcases a mix of images—some taken with permission, others without. "Would you mind if . . . ?" invites viewers to reflect on the changing nature of public space, privacy, and the role of the photographer in documenting our shared human experience."
