Morning Book Group: Murder on the Orient Express

Book cover shows the title and name of the author, as well as a blue train traveling through a dark, snowy forest. Behind the book, the silhouette of a train crossing a bridge is set against a purple background with snow falling around it.

Join the library's Morning Book Group in October as we talk about Murder on the Orient Express, by Agatha Christie.

Just after midnight, the luxurious train the Orient Express is stopped in its tracks by a snowdrift. As morning dawns, one passenger is dead, his door locked from the inside—and the killer is most certainly still on board. Fortunately (or perhaps unfortunately for him), detective Hercule Poirot happens to be on board, on a vacation. It will not be an easy crime to solve; the dead man had plenty of enemies aboard, and not everyone is entirely truthful in regard to why they happen to be on the Orient Express. Can detective Poirot solve the crime? Or will the murderer be able to strike again?

This book is available to borrow from the library. Book group reserve copies will be available by the previous Morning Book Group meeting, Thursday, September 11.

Morning Book Group meets the second Thursday of the month in the library Board Room.
