On the Art Wall:

This November the South Burlington Library will be hosting a series of photographs titled "Vermont Natural Splendor" by Susan Trottier. Susan has always taken notice and appreciated the beauty that surrounds us everyday in our state of Vermont. All of this plus some travel to a few nice places, gave Susan an interest in wanting to capture the beauty or the memory of her visual experience. She started photographing her travel and hikes over twenty-five years. Susan states "The hikes were a relaxation for me and noticing all the beauty along the way only added to the moment more than just trying to reach the top. These are just some of the wildflowers and water lilies at favorite walking places and hikes over the years."

In the Display Case:

This November the South Burlington Library will be hosting a collection of Toy Soldiers curated by Karl Novak, which includes sets such as British formal dressed officers trading toy soldiers, WW 2 dime store sailors and soldiers marching, and a public park scene from 1890s. Karl started his collection in 1943 and still has his first set. Most of his soldiers were manufactured in the United States, New Zealand, and Britain.

The Library is ADA accessible, patrons are asked to call (802) 846-4140 in advance if special services are required.

Masks may be worn in the library and at any library program.
