Craft Materials Swap: Drop Off

A crumpled piece of notebook paper on corkboard. It is surrounded by buttons, markers, and scissors. Text reads: Craft Materials Swap! Exchange new and gently used supplies for new-to-you inspiration! The text is displayed on blue and yellow color splotches.

Do you have shelves, boxes, or closets brimming with craft supplies or materials that you no longer need? Looking for some free creative inspiration? Come to our Craft Swap!

DROP-OFF DATES:  Monday, October 6 to Friday, October 17.

SWAP DATE: Tuesday, October 21 from 4:00 - 6:30pm.

What can I bring?
We will accept any kind of clean, gently used or new craft supplies! This can be crayons, scrapbook paper, yarn, fabric, embroidery hoops, and more. Please note that your exchange items may be declined due to not following guidelines or space limitations.

Where do I bring my donations?
Please bring them to the 2nd floor of the South Burlington Public Library! There will be a person at the desk right next to the stairs, and they can direct you further.

Can I come early to the swap?
Please come on time! We want to ensure everyone has an equal chance to look at the swap items. No early birds, please!

Will you provide bags?
Please bring your own bags to take home your new treasures.

Can I still come to the swap without providing materials for exchange?
Of course! Everyone is welcome to "shop", even without a donation.

Leftover supplies will be donated to area organizations or used for future library programming.

The Library is ADA accessible, patrons are asked to call (802) 846-4140 in advance if special services are required.

Masks may be worn in the library and at any library program.
