The Library is going to Pride!
Walk with the Library Trustees and City staff to celebrate 40 years of VT LGBTQ+ pride. This is the 40th anniversary of the Burlington Pride Parade which honors diversity, equity, respect and joy! From 350 participants the first year, the parade topped 5,000 in 2022.
The Parade is put on by The Pride Center of Vermont (PCVT,) the region’s most comprehensive community center dedicated to advancing community and the health and safety of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ+) Vermonters.Check the PCVT calendar for all the events supporting our communities.
We will meet up at the Hood Plant on King Street and march to Waterfront Park for the Pride Festival.
